Short-Term Stay After Hospital Admission
Patients that have been admitted to a hospital for a minimum of three nights may have the option for a short-term stay in our center to receive 24-hour Nursing care and Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy up to seven-days each week. Patients may also request a short-term Respite in-patient stay for periods of a few days to several months.

In-Patient Residential Stay
Patients that require a permanent in-patient stay may be admitted from the Hospital, Assisted Living Facility or Home after receiving an admission order from their primary physician.

[review] => My mother recently had a partial hip replacement at Viera Hospital and we chose Royal Oaks Nursing & Rehab to care for her and bring her back to good health. Although she was unlucky enough to fall, she was extremely lucky to end up in a place that not only has the professional staff to take care of her, but a group of caring people to make sure she was as comfortable as she could be given the circumstances. From the nursing staff to the physical therapy team and everyone in between, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for making this a positive experience for both my mom and my whole family. The staff and director are very caring and reached out to me several times over her stay to make sure everything was going well and any needs could be addressed. [review] => I have been a resident of Royal Oaks Nursing & Rehab Center in Titusville, FL for the last four weeks. After experiencing a major hemmoragic stroke I have received extensive nursing care and restorative physical therapy here.
The services provided have been absolutely top notch. All of the
Nursing staff endeavors to give the best care for every service you need whether it is incontinence, bathing, dressing, or eating. They quickly respond to emergency requests for assistance. Every employee treats you with full dignity when helping you with personal care.
The nursing staff worked together to help me with all my needs and each staff member took a personal interest in one of my specific wants to make sure it was being provided.
Physical therapy is the dominant theme of this facility. The physical therapy Department worked very hard to help me regain and maintain neural pathways in my brain potentially damaged by the stroke.
The facility itself is very nice:
Clean comfortable room.
Spotlesss hallways and physical therapy rooms.
Secluded manicured gardens in an outdoor courtyard for strolling.
Optional dinner in the restaurant.
Ice cream stand open every day.
Specially baked desserts including cakes, cookies and cupcakes.
Movie nights with popcorn.
DJ and musical entertainment throughout the month.
Top quality full breakfast, lunch and dinners prepared by restaurant-trained chefs.

[review] => Hello I am a patient of Royal Oaks for the past two weeks and I am very blessed to be here because as soon as I came in to the facility the nursing staff was so kind to me and truly cared about my pain and I could see in there eyes that they wanted to help me not just because I was there but, because they cared. This is not just any nursing home. This is a place to come to get better. A Rebhabation Center with professionals that know what they are doing. I would like to pay each one of theses people my own personal compliment, Eric McKinney MHA,NHA he is the Administrator of Royal Oaks, and I would like to thank Shalonda Parkes she is with Social Service Assistant, Christina Ladd, LPN West Wing Unit Manager, Shawna Mills, RN Director of Nursing, Mary Speach Therapist, Jack St Clair,CDM, CFPP Food and Nutrition Manager The House Dr Petal, and Dr Skirk, there is two people that I must say are angels of mercy and there names are Debra Bishop RN she is one of my sweet nurses that is there for me in just soon as I need her. The nurses at Royal Oaks listen to you about your pain and where it is at and, they do help you feel better. And the other angel is Rethia CNA, Royal Oaks has some of the best CNA that has ever taken care of me .I have even been to Sea Pines for a month and i have to say that Royal Oaks has been the best care for me. Royal Oaks has the best Rebhabation Center, the best Nursing, the best CNA, and they have wonderful experienced professional Therapist. I am only one patient of two hundred people in Royal Oaks and this is my opinion but, I will never go anywhere else for help when I get sick but Royal Oaks. I have been sick for a year and a half now and I know that they understand what I am going through and they feel my pain. And they are there for my families concerns and questions at anytime and they try to help my family understand my illness and them get prepared to go home better than when I came in. [review] => Thank you Royal Oaks for getting me through a particular tough time. I was recovering from a serious bout of sepsis. My feet were non weight bearing; so I was wheel chair bound. I needed physical therapy, occupational therapy and wound care.
The physical therapy dept did an awesome job of getting me back in shape. Their hard work and dedication had me walking with a cane in no time once I was approved for weight bearing.
Meanwhile Occupational therapy was preparing me for functioning at home once I was discharged. By the time I was discharged I was fully prepared for what laid ahead.
A big thank you to the nursing dept. The wound care I required was quite extensive and constantly changing due to surgeries performed during my stay. Every change in care was handled with utmost care and professionalism. My surgeries required transport to the hospital. This was handled by Royal Oaks and went off each time without a hitch.
To the rest of the staff a big thank you for making my stay a pleasant one.

[review] => This is the best facility in Titusville. The staff is very friendly, always, smiling, willing to help. Yes, they have other people to take care of but they do meet my needs. I like to eat my meals and the dining room, and to meet new people. They have activities twice a day that I enjoy. They have a lovely garden outside where I sometimes meet my friends. My husband was here quite often so I felt like home when I arrived here. I have spent 2 1/2 weeks here. The therapy and occupational therapy was very good for me. I improved my balance, quite a bit, which was a big help to me. I was able to have my dog come visit, up to 5 hrs one day. He stays on my bed the whole time. I would recommend this facility to anyone who needs help.

My sister had come here after her knee surgery & had a 5 star stay here so I came here to recover too. From the Administration to the Maintenance staff I’ve been extremely impressed. Dr Skirk, Rethia, CNA, Stephanie, RN & Nicole, Physical Therapy were definitely my favorites but all of the staff was terrific. They were all friendly, compassionate, caring, encouraging, loving and very attentive to all my needs. I would definitely recommend this facility to everyone. This is definitely the best place in Brevard County, FL.

Her insurance would cover her for 5 weeks, while she recovered from an infected surgical wound. The director required that I show financial proof of assets, to cover her after that period. I did. And yet, they would not take her. He said, "How do I know you won't dump her here? It happens all the time.". She had nearly $100,000 in her checking account! [review] => The staff at Royal Oaks is very friendly and professional. They go out of their way to help with all needs of the patient. My Aunt has been here three times, and has loved it here each time. She will need to stay long term this time, but unfortunately there is no long term beds available. Eric has helped me by providing a list of other facilities to find another long term facility until a bed becomes available here. My wife and I have been to many facilities in the local area and this is the best facility we have visited. It's always clean and there is hardly any odor. God bless all of the personnel at this facility.

From daily attention, physical therapy and occupational therapy, it was all great. We also enjoyed going out into the garden/patio. We highly recommend Royal Oaks to those that need some recovery time before going home. Also the administration staff were very well organized and had a great director who made himself available to the patients. 5 stars as far I am concerned!

[review] => We have been supporting as a Volunteer group that plays music for the people staying in this facility for about 12 years. We have watched the staff and the care they provide bringing people out to be comfortable and relaxed while we try to bring them some music to make them smile and hopefully bring them good memories. The Staff are always courteous and caring and we have seen the facility improve the overall ambiance to be a place where it feels more like a home welcoming guests to stay awhile. We just participated in a wonderful breakfast celebrating all the volunteers that come to the facility. The food prepared by a new Chef was superb which we know will be welcomed by all the people in the facility. The caretakers are kind hearted and really care for the people that are in the facility.

[review] => My father was at Royal Oak Nursing and Rehab in August of 2021 during very challenging times after a hospitalization from complications of covid. When he left the hospital, he could barely take 2 steps at bedside. It took 2 people, maximum assistance just to get him from bed to chair. When he left Royal Oak, he was very close to his baseline and could walk again with minimal assistance. The care he received from ALL the therapies and entire staff was incredible. He was treated with dignity and respect as was his family. I work in the medical field and have seen and heard [almost] it all. I highly recommend and thank Royal Oak

[review] => My brother has Parkinson’s & fell and broke his hip. After a longer than usual hospital stay I was very worried about his recovery. After just 2 days he is already better- staff is delivering medicine consistently ( hospital struggled with that), staff is attentive. There is just a short time when you push a call button before somebody comes, as opposed to 30 minute wait at the hospital. It is well kept and pretty here & the food is good. My brother is much more at home here.

[review] => My Grandmother has recently been a short term patient after a hip replacement and my great aunt is a long term resident at Royal Oak. Both units are clean, with amazing staff and even friendly residents. This place doesn’t present as a nursing home when you walk in like other facilities around. They offering restaurant style dining for lunch and recently started dinner some evenings. They have multiple activities offered daily and they even have their own Ice cream parlor and hair salon! From admission to discharge it has been an easy process. Would 10/10 recommend!

[review] => As a visiting vendor, I visit Royal Oaks twice a week and love the time I spend here! The staff is very knowledgeable and caring, and they treat the residents with utmost respect. All of management knows the residents by name and truly listen to residents and family members. Although I’m a consultant and not an employee, I get treated like part of the team. When I visit the residents, they feel well taken care of. It feels good to know I am working with a facility that values making a positive impact in the community.

[review] => I needed rehab because I had a fall which resulted in me breaking my leg, hip, and arm. After spending several weeks working with the therapy team here at Royal Oaks, I have been able to use a walker again to walk a reasonable distance and I feel they have gone ABOVE and BEYOND the call of duty. I was I itially concerned that I wouldn't be able to walk again, and thanks to the AMAZING therapy team...I am even able to take steps on my own. Would also like to mention the outstanding nurses and care that I received as well. This is truly a 5 star organization!

[review] => My sis has been at Royal Oaks for a week, it’s great to walk in her room and she her smiling, she tells me how great the staff are. The facility is clean with caring staff. They have made sure my sister has puzzles and reading material to keep her entertained other than TV. This is a temporary stay for my sister and our family feel comfortable that she is safe and well taken care of with her physical therapy .

My mother recently had a partial hip replacement at Viera Hospital and we chose Royal Oaks Nursing & Rehab to care for her and bring her back to good health. Although she was unlucky enough to fall, she was extremely lucky to end up in a place that not only has the professional staff to take care of her, but a group of caring people to make sure she was as comfortable as she could be given the circumstances. From the nursing staff to the physical therapy team and everyone in between, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for making this a positive experience for both my mom and my whole family. Thank you Eric for welcoming my mom with open arms and treating her like family.
